Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) provide vital assistance with daily activities, empowering individuals to maintain independence and live comfortably in their own homes or with their families. By minimizing the need for institutional care, HCBS promotes a sense of autonomy, strengthens family connections, and supports individuals in thriving within their own communities. These services are designed to enhance overall well-being, offering personalized care that allows people to live fuller, more enriched lives while staying closely connected to their surroundings.

 Group home services are a type of care provided for people who need additional support, such as those with disabilities.  Group homes provide 24-hour supervision and assistance, including meal preparation, medication supervision, healthcare coordination, and educational and recreational activities. Some group homes also offer vocational training.   The goal of group homes is to help residents gain independence and reach their full potential. Group home caregivers also help residents be active members of their communities by participating in local events.  

 Day Treatment and Training Services, also known as Day Programs, provide individuals with training, supervision, and engaging activities to build essential skills and promote personal growth. These programs are offered in community-based settings, creating opportunities for participants to learn important safety skills, enhance their social interactions, and develop independence. By focusing on skill development and social integration, Day Programs empower participants to thrive in their communities while building meaningful connections.
